lovesit: fabulous gift ideas

As holidays, anniversaries and birthdays approach, the pressure is always on to find the perfect gift for our friends and loved ones.  I always try to make note of interesting gift ideas I see during the year to come back to when I’m in need of the perfect gift.  Here are two thing’s I’ve come across recently.  The first is the Love Note cards by Dempsey & Carroll.  This was something given to me by a close friend and I loved the sassy/ fun design so I wanted to learn more about the brand.  Dempsey and Carroll have been making handcrafted, luxury stationary that has ascended into an art form since 1818.  Not only do they make the most adorable cards, but they also offer gorgeous stationary, invitations and custom engraving.  For more information please visit here.

Yogamatics’s do-it-yourself, custom yoga mat is a great gift idea for any occasion- housewarming, new baby, engagement, etc to name a few.  It was introduced to this brand by a coworker who also filled me in on the fact that Oprah received one for her birthday from Jennifer Aniston adorned with pictures of her 4 dogs.  I’d LOVE a yoga mat with my pup’s little face on it, so this is something I’m definitely going to be picking up for myself when I design a few for my friends.  To design your own yogamatics yoga mat, visit here.
