the products every girl should “borrow” from her boyfriend

I have to give my boyfriend credit for his brand loyalty when it comes to his toiletries.  His shelf in the bathroom contains the same products, year after year, and they are just what he needs for his no-nonsense daily routine -and not an item more.   I’ve discovered I could probably learn a thing of two from this minimalist lifestyle and I’ve been forced to use a few of his products when mine run out unexpectedly, causing me to question some of the over-priced, over-scented, ultra girly products we all use daily.  There are some products, however, I was introduced to long before the days of cohabitation from the men’s aisle at cvs I still swear by, such as the Mach3 razor.  Here’s a little run through of the things men love that you will too.  What are the item’s you like to borrow from your significant other?

Though I don’t love their Peta rating, Gillette offer’s the best razor.  Period. 

2. 

Not just for when you’re feeling sick, this menthol rub is the most soothing lip therapy I’ve ever known.  Slather it on at night and in the morning for a tingly cool lip treatment that will leave your lips feeling healthy even if they’re chapped and dry.

3.   

I don’t understand why every women’s deodorant marketed as ‘clear’ still leaves a nasty residue on all my dark clothing.  Forced to use this one morning because my ‘clear’ lady’s speedstick had run out, I couldn’t believe how ‘clear’ / invisible this deodorant really was.  It smells so good and works so well, you can literally write your name in your favorite black silk top with this stuff and nothing is going to show.  A must have for anyone who wears a lot of dark clothing.

America’s oldest retailer, Caswell-Massey was founded in 1752.  Since then, it has become a favorite of the elite, including president’s such as Washington, Eisenhower and Kennedy.  My personal favorite is the Almond Cold Cream soap, which my boyfriend loves as well due to its super moisturizing power and delicious, light scent.  All their soaps are triple-milled so they last much longer than most other soaps and produce a really rich lather.

For any hair type, this soothing scalp oil helps relieve a dry, itchy scalp, whether you have 2 minutes to spare in the morning before your shower, or prefer to use this as an overnight treatment.

An exfoliator fine and concentrated enough to rival even some of my most expensive micro-derm treatments, this face scrub has a fresh, clean scent that leaves your skin feeling baby soft.
